North Providence Medical Services, Inc. was incorporated in 1975 as the first free standing emergency room in Rhode Island, and possibly the first in the country.
We have been providing quality urgent care to adults and children on a walk-in basis 7 days a week for over 30 years. North Providence Medical provides a convenient and high quality alternative to hospital emergency rooms for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. Our clinic is staffed with fully licensed physicians with years of experience at all times. We have licensed registered nurses and X-ray technologists on all shifts.
